Helping You Get Closer to Your Dream

FAMILY PETITIONS

We provide services to help clients obtain Lawful Permanent Residence through various forms of relief based on family petitions such as consular processing for those abroad, and adjustment of status in the United States. We also provide services for individuals who may need waivers due to certain immigration violations such as unlawful presence, fraud and misrepresentation, crimes, and other issues that may deem a person inadmissible to the United States. If you have United States citizen spouse, child over 21, parent, sibling, or permanent resident spouse or parent, you may be eligible to apply. Call us today.

U-Visa Petitions

Many undocumented victims choose not to report crimes to authorities, fearing repercussions due to their immigration status. In 2000, congress created the U-Visa to protect victims of crime, and encourage cooperation with law enforcement to aid in the investigation and prosecution of cases. If you have been the victim of a crime, you may be eligible to apply for a U-nonimmigrant Visa. With this petition, your spouse, children, parents, and siblings may also be included. An individual granted U-nonimmigrant status may apply for permanent residence after three years. But every day counts. Only 10,000 U visas may be issued every fiscal year. Call us today to find out if you and your family members qualify to apply.

The Immigration landscape is becoming increasingly difficult for today's asylum seekers. Policies and procedures change frequently, and its more important than ever to have a representative with the latest knowledge on how to navigate the system. From assessing eligibility to preparing applications and representing clients in proceedings, Marsal Avila Law Group can help you and your family navigate the complexities of immigration law on the path to asylum.
